Not all Alcohol Gel products are considered equal.
InFlame's Premium Ethanol Alcohol contains certified Ethanol whereas many alcohol gel and liquid products on the marketplace contain Isopropyl alcohol (ie: rubbing alcohol) or inferior Ethanol alcohol with additives and toxic contents. Review of the contents on the label will not always provide this information therefore making it critical to look for the EcoLogo or your Global logo in the USA.
-
InFlame does not sell Alcohol Gel products in Canisters. InFlame's extensive Research & Development over the past 10 years in conclusive that alcohol gel stored in metal canisters reacts with the metal canister welds causing the gel to liquefy and rust compromising the quality and purity of the product hence the air quality. Pressure build-up in the canisters is also common and a safety concern as the lids are forced into the air from the pressure build-up.
-
Once the fuel breaks down and becomes contaminated, the alcohol becomes extremely volatile and unsafe to burn. The rust compromises the air quality.
-
InFlame supplies Ethanol Alcohol in plastic bottles. Empty Metal Canisters are sold separately or included with garden fireburners to re-fill from bottles. This ensures safety for all customers and extends the shelf life of the fuel up to 2 years.
